Soy products reduces risk of cancer like breast and prostate cancer. Soy contains isoflavones, daidzen and genistein and protease inhibitors, all which are powerful anticancer substances. Genistein reduces production of estrogen, thus providing cancer-protective effect. Estrogens are believed to cause breast cancer and prostate cancer.

Genistein prevents blood clots by inhibiting thrombin formation and platelet aggregation which may cause heart attack.

Isoflavones stop the growth of young malignant tumors , thereby allowing the immune system to mop up these small tumors and eliminate them.

Soy products also contain folic acid , calcium, magnesium , zinc and lignans. They contain protease inhibitors which suppress and stop the spread of cancer. Lignans also inhibit estrogen and are believe to have anticancer effects.
